Flatulence

Heavy oily foodstuffs, or protein rich foods tend to give a feeling of heaviness . It is abdominal discomfort due to the presence of air or gas in the stomach. Usually there is constipation also.



Try these:-
Take 1 cup of buttermilk with kings cumin and a pinch of rock salt regularly after a meal . This also helps in constipation.

In acute cases take two garlic pods with black raisins (munakka) and chew it. Within minutes you get relief This can also be taken when you are suffering from hip ache.

You can even try this one , take a small bowl of warm water in it add 1tsp of rock salt and ½ lemon juice . This also helps in relieving headaches.

Foods to be avoided:-beans, raw vegetable salad, cabbage, cauliflower, sweets, meat, eggs,nuts, spices, pickles,etc .
Foods to be taken:-rice, milk, garlic(reduces flatulence), lots of water.

Infants Ailment

A little cry and there goes the mother’s life topsy turvy. But do not worry these are some solutions to many problems faced by these kids. Cough&Cold Boil 1 cup of water with 10 -12 grains of kings cumin till the water reduces to half, sieve and make the baby or the child drink it while hot. If the case is severe then boil a glass of milk with 4-5 leaf of holy basil and 1 clove and let him drink. Apply cow’s ghee(more then 1 year old) on the baby’s chest and back at night and make him sleep covered. Asthma One year And above child : give 5 leaves of holy basil(tulsi) paste, mix with1 tsp of honey. Less then 1 year child : give two drops of the above paste with little honey twice a day. Tonsilitis Drink a glass of carrot juice at 3 - 4 pm for two to three months. Do gargle with 1 glass of warm water and 1 tsp of salt.
